Which Free Business software?

Business Software for the small business is out there in abundance. For some time now there has been a large number of free business “tools” that can help you run your business effectively without breaking the bank or indeed affecting it in any way!

Some of the most well known include Free business software includes Google Apps for Business these include Gmail, Calendar, Docs and Sites. Any small Business owner could make use of those basic tools and rather than pay an extortionate amount for these core tools, Google offers theirs for free and lose little if any functionality in comparison. Other more specialist free business product suites are out there as well and one I would recommend is Zoho they have a good range of products from a CRM system to invoicing and all are easy to use and customisable to the Company.

Now both these companies offering are “in the cloud” which basically means they are hosted elsewhere, accessed via the internet and a good way of keeping your information backed up away from your local machine. This means losing your PC is not the end of the world and the end of your business!

Technology is a real passion of mine but not an obsession! Any good business owner knows that technology is merely a tool and on its own will not bring success. However as with any tools choose carefully the right tool for the job!
